Metrolinx Personal Track Safety Training

A&B Rail Services Ltd. has partnered with Metrolinx and is approved to provide the Personal Track Safety (PTS) training. With the increased number of construction activities happening on or around Metrolinx railways, more people than ever are exposed to the hazards and risks of working in a railway environment. All individuals working on our rail network must be trained on how to safely work and operate in this environment before they begin work. A&B Rail Services Ltd. is committed to offering the highest quality training for all the industry needs.

Personal Track Safety (PTS)

• Anyone working within the Metrolinx Right of Way (ROW)
• Anyone working under a form of track protection on a Metrolinx site
• Anyone working on a piece of Metrolinx-owned rail infrastructure (e.g., bridges, tunnels, etc.)

As part of the PTS program, you will be required to:

1. Register for a scheduled training session.
2. Attend scheduled training sessions via teams.
3. Actively participate during the training session using Slido on a computer or mobile device.
4. Complete a Knowledge Assessment via FlexiQuiz

Registering for PTS Training

We are delighted to announce that completing Metrolinx’s Personal Track Safety training has never been easier. Register, pay, and attend a Personal Track Safety training through the hyperlink below. Following successful registration, individuals will promptly receive a confirmation email and an option to add the training event to their calendar. Participants will also receive a team invite via email before the training class. Make sure that no technology issues will be present on that day of training and please join 15 minutes before the start time for attendance.

Reminders Before Registering

Thank you for visiting the Personal Track Safety registration page. Please read the following disclaimer before registering:

• Please provide your legal first and last names in the registration fields (as they appear on a government/company-issued ID).
• If you are registering multiple participants on their behalf, please fill out the registration form for each employee separately. This will be required to set up access to the exam.
• An email address is mandatory to participate. If you do not have an email address, please provide an email address from someone else in your organization (e.g., an administrator/supervisor)
• Attendance credit is calculated based on how long each participant is logged into a session.

If the scheduled courses posted do not suit your needs, individual classes can be bought at a minimum price. Please email us to arrange a course for a different date than the one posted.

We offer courses both virtual and in-person depending on what the customer needs. We have other options if the scheduled virtual class dates do not work for you. Please contact us for more information.
